Celebrating National Donut Day with a healthy twist

Behold: the matcha spirulina donut. Created by nutritional chef Sarah Pachelli exclusively for Loosie's café in Brooklyn, New York. Pachelli is "constantly scouring the internet and Instagram for inspiration," she says. "I tweak, alter, and substitutes until it becomes my own." According to the locals, the results are straight up delicious. Let's hope that like everything else that starts in NYC, the matcha spirulina donut trickles down south.
